Take a look at our Tips for todays racing at Newmarket Kempton and Redcar

Newmarket Sat (C4)
2.05 Italian Girl 2pts e/w
Im going to take the Alan Jarvis 2 year-old
Italian Girl to land the opener at Newmarket. She won at Ascot on her
first start back in July in what looked a hot maiden beating Silca Chiave into
third. That form looks even better now after that last named horse finished
third in the Cheveley Park Stakes here on Friday. She has since ran slightly
disappointing coming fifth at Goodwood in a Group Three, but this drop in class
can see her return to the winners enclosure

3.10 Speciosa 3pts win
1,000 Guineas winner Speciosa can bounce
back to form at a track she clearly loves. She not only landed that Classic here
but also the Nell Gwyn and a Group Two making it three from three at the track.
She has since been tried over further in the Oaks, but after a lot of debate
about whether she stays I think the evidence is clear and this drop back to a
mile will be in her favour

3.45 Formal Decree 2pts e/w
One of the most competitive handicaps of the season the
Cambridgeshire is always tough to unravel, but I like the look of the Alan
Swinbank trained Formal Decree. This 3-year-old has been
running well all season and only just got touched off last time out at Newbury
in a similar race. He is drawn in stall 17 so will have the option to go either
side which can be an advantage. Also be sure to shop around as I know a lot of
firms will be going 5 places in this race

Redcar Sat (C4)
2.50 Hoh Mike 2pts e/w
Back down to Listed company Michael Bells Hoh
Mike will take all the beating. He started his career well winning two
out of his first three races and was well touted for the Norfolk at Royal Ascot
back in June, but ran into Dutch Art that day whose gone on to prove himself a
decent animal (Won the Middle Park here yesterday). Since then hes struggled
slightly in similar company finishing down the field in the July Stakes and the
coming third in the Flying Childers at York.
So although this will be the biggest field hes tackled so
far in his career the drop in class should see him go close at decent odds.

3.15 Viking Spirit 3pts e/w
Last seen out two weeks ago in the Ayr Gold Cup,
Viking Spirit ran a lot better than the finishing positions suggest.
Once his chance had gone he was not knocked about and with Walter Swinburn
having his string in good nick I can see him making amends here at rewarding
each-way odds.
