Japanese horse Deep Impact has completed his preparations for Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe with a gallop at Chantilly racecourse.
The four-year-old was partnered by big-race jockey Yutaka Take and completed the final four furlongs in 50 seconds and the final furlong in 12 seconds to prove his well-being.
Deep Impact, has only lost once in 11 starts and is a 5/2 favourite.

There have been seven 7/1 clear favourites in that time including the winners Hedgehunter (2005), Earth Summit (1998) and Rough Quest (1996) while 10/1 co favourites were returned in 2004 and 2001.

Irish owner JP McManus, whose Clan Royal is favourite at 6-1 with VC Bet for the Grand National at Aintree in April, has another strong contender for the worlds most popular race after Innox landed the Racing Post Chase at Sandown.
He was cut from 20-1 to 16-1 with VC Bet and will be looking to improve on his performance when he finished seventh after being in second place at Bechers second time round.
